ANNOUNCES DIOCESAN EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS
TABOR (Special) — His Excellency, the Most Reverend William O. Brady, D.D., has announced that the Second Diocesan Eucharistic Congress will be held in Aberdeen, on Thursday, October 23rd.
In preparation for this Eucharistic Day, the bishop has asked that Sunday, October 19, be a General Communion Sunday in the diocese of Sioux Falls. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Eucharistic devotions are to be held in each parish of the diocese. On Wednesday, October 22, from 8 till 9 p. m., the Holy Hour will be held in both Catholic churches in Aberdeen and in the presentation Convent there. The devotions will be conducted by the Aberdeen clergy.
On Thursday, October 23, several low Masses will be said in the Aberdeen churches. At 10 o’clock on Thursday, Bishop Brady, will offer up a solemn Pontifical Mass in the Aberdeen auditorium.
