4-H RECOGNITION PARTY AT TYNDALL OCT. 24
TYNDALL (Special) — Final preparations are being made for the annual 4-H recognition party, to be held at the Tyndall auditorium basement Friday evening, October 24, starting at 6:30 p. m., word from the county extension office revealed.
Th [sic] program planning committee, Robert Hajek, Joe P. Schuch, Tyndall; Mrs. Roy Beecher and Myrtle Beecher, Springfield, met at the county extension office Wednesday evening, October 8 to plan the program for the event.
This program is intended to show all the phases of 4-H work, including the sponsors of girls and boys clubs and the leaders of 4-H glrs [sic] and boys clubs. In addition, several musical numbers have been arranged from 4-H talent in the county, including instrumental and vocal numbers.
I purchased roughly 25 original issues of the Yankton (South Dakota) Press & Dakotan, dating from 1938 to 1946. I am systematically going through every issue and will be posting the articles that include the names of individuals. I am happy to email full-size scans of any article. Feel free to ask.
